this isn't figure skating breh, curry can shoot off the dribble 3's 40 foot 3's et.. It all counts the same. kerr's % is higher. Curry is amazing
Actually in this context it does matter how one shoots three-pointers, especially since Kerr was limited in how he could score them. Kerr's percentage is 1% higher, yet Curry has made 500+ more. I mean seriously, are you that anti-10s that you're going to argue this point?
Curry has made 1,243 three-pointers at 44%
Kerr has made 726 three-pointers at 45%
How you could possibly come to the conclusion that Kerr was a better three-pointer shooter, I don't know.
Why would the bulls need a few games? How are the warriors guarding the bulls? Who on GSW can guard jordan? pippen? who can matchup to 6'10 kukoc?
The Warriors would work out on how to best defend the Bulls well before the vice versa. GS have multiple players and arguably the greatest defensive scheme to guard both Jordan and Pippen. Draymond, Bogut and Ezeli can guard Kukoc.
How are the warriors adjusting to the bulls half court triangle potent offense?
The triangle offense the Bulls used in 97 is easier to deal with than most offensive schemes the Warriors have faced, especially since the Bulls would have to deal with zone defense.
switch it up how? Curry would only be able to guard harper in our lineup. You can't put him on pippen kukoc or mj cause he's either getting cooked or fouling out. You can't put him on dennis or else he's grabbing every offensive rebound. Teams today don't take advantage of curry but the bulls absolutely would make him guard someone on defense.
You want to know why this isn't happening? Because you're forgetting that the Warriors would leave Rodman open when he's on the perimeter, and use Curry to disrupt the Bulls offense by working in and out of the passing lanes. You're putting far too much focus on Curry's lack of defense, or how the Bulls would expose him on that end. The Warriors defense works because every player is helping each other. There'd only be the odd occasion where Curry would be left on his opposite by himself with no other Warrior in the vicinity.
The Bulls couldn't just punish Curry on the low block because before that player could get a shot off, he'd have to deal with players helping off their player and distributing the ball carrier. If it were Harper (which it most typically be, given all the other matchups), i) he wouldn't able to create a shot in those situations ii) he wouldn't be able to deal with the effects of zone defense.
Please list these "favorable" warrior matchups. Besides curry the bulls are superior at every other position on the court should the bulls play small to match them
The favorable matchups for the Warriors would all be dependent on what lineups they'd put out -
Livingston would abuse Kerr/Brown in the post
Klay would tire out and free himself up on every perimeter role player
Barbosa has the speed/ability to get past every perimeter role player
Iggy has the speed/ability to get past every big man role player
Barnes has the ability to back down every Bulls guard/wing role player not named Harper and has the speed to get past every Bulls big man role player
Green has the ability to breakdown any Bulls role player in initiating the offense/creating mismatchups
This is all without mentioning the favorable matchups Curry would create for himself and the added effect he'd have for the rest of the team.
