Of course my perception of him as a player improved from how well he played when they won the ring.
Kyrie played FANTASTIC in the 2016 Finals. It was by far his best playoff series ever. He made by far his biggest playoff shot ever. I gave him plenty of shine for that and he definitely showed something at the highest level that he'd never shown before.
How does the fact that I consider him a bit below the top tier of NBA players discount that he showed out in the 2016 championship run more than he ever had before?
You're saying all this shyt about what the championship didn't do for him, but your ONLY evidence is that some people say mean things about him on the internet.
And legit, what is the WORST thing I said about him in the last month? Ya'all make a mountain out of a molehill.

Who ever said that Lebron put him on the map?
I said the CHAMPIONSHIP improved his public perception in every measurable way:
Jersey sales:
2014 before Lebron came: 9th
2015 for first season with Lebron: 6th
2016 during championship run: 4th
All-star vote:
2014: 5th
2015: 4th
2016: 5th
2017: 2nd
NBA GM Survey
2015 preseason: no votes for anything (CP3, Westbrook, TP, Curry, Conley, Lilliard, and Rose all got best PG votes)
2016 preseason: no votes for anything (CP3, Curry, Westbrook, Conley all got best PG votes)
2017 preseason: Two votes for best PG in the NBA (behind only CP3, Curry, and Westbrook), also votes for fastest with the ball, and who you want shooting with the game on the line
What's your evidence that the title did "nothing for him"? Other than that some people said mean things still on the internet.
