8 quarters aint nothingamazing response. great production, respectful tone and a bunch of facts and information that finally fill some gaps and explain why those pandemic podcasts became worse and worse in quality.
few things:
please for the love of god stop consuming akademiks. this guy has always spread misinformation and he keeps spreading misinformation, because - similar to joe - he has a legion of bozos who fall for the cheapest and sensationalist rhetoric. there has to be another obese man on twitch y'all ak fans can consume and have a parasocial relationship with.
if you in any way attached to this situation and have issues with paying two bucks for a 1h video after years of free content, i'd say you have larger issues going on in your life and you should maybe stop spending time on a message board

that’s what I’m starting to think too…he’s saying he was “overpaying” them because once they left Spotify the actual pod itself wasn’t bringing in the type of profit as it was when they still had a deal…and he was dipping into money made from his other projects to make sure they never took a pay cut…all of this stems from him wanting to make unilateral decisions about the biz without taking input from them…it becomes a even more uncomfortable situation if he burned the Spotify bridge with no deal as a backup plan, then turn around and tell them they have to take a huge paycut without letting them weigh in on the decision…and when they started asking questions because none of this would make sense if he didnt explain it, he starts getting indignant and lil homie’ing them…and it falls to hell
Yes, he can rap, but a whole lot of people can rap. Joe was one of the first rappers on the internet like that so maybe it’s because of that, but you would assume this nikka was Nas or some shyt with the praise he gets on the internet when it comes to rapping. Truth is, dude shyt boring and nikkas not trying to sit around listening to that depressed ass poorly mixed shyt. Nobody be checking for this nikka music in real life. The best compliment you can give the nikka is he not trash on the mic. nikkas in real life legit can’t name more than 1.5 Joe Budden songs, but on the internet Mood Music series is a classic

The horrible mixing is glaring with better quality speakers and being used to mixed music that people actually paid to sound good
