This whole time he was making it seem like they was fighting over ownership :scust:

And y’all being dishonest like people don’t go along with fukked up shyt cause it’s from someone who love or have a close friendship, cause they don’t want to end the relationship so they just take the L and keep it moving.

coli nikkas are all cold blooded machiavellian masterminds that have never taken a L or been outmaneuvered in any matter of human interaction …sure they’ve spent years believing, co-signing, and cheerleading Buddens “I’m the foremost advocate for creative equity on the planet” schtick …but let’s make this about how stupid they are for getting done foul by their close friend, and not about the person doing the foul shyt :mjlol:

Solid response... I missed all the tension because I stopped listening due to Joe's nonsensical rants and contradictions at times so I'd def. listen to another pod with just these two.

Joe’s a shytbag but let’s not revise history. His first album sold almost 100k first week when people were actually leaving their homes to legitimately purchase albums instead of using “album equivalent unit” metrics for “sales”. And he got critical acclaim for his Mood Muzik series. He’s a punchline now and a generally bad person, but he definitely had musical success.
Commercially speaking, Joe Budden flopped as an artist.

I always liked him and listened to the MM series since MM1..... but after Pump It Up, they put weight behind him and he aint move units.
He did 95,000 first week and 400k total at a time when Chingy did 3 million. 400k total (not even going gold) was not a W back then for an artist with the Def Jam machine behind him.

Albums was selling back then. Tony Yayo sold more than that....

I say this as someone who always liked his music, but 'critical acclaim' is strong too. He found an internet audience. If his rap career worked, he wouldn't have transitioned to reality TV and podcasts.

Parks have leverage because they record at his house?

Nope. Joe could do the podcast from his garage and people will listen. He is an elite talent. However he will never reach the success he thinks he deserves unless he does right by people. You can’t do it by yourself. Relationships are key and no one trusts him.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Yeah these nikkas don’t know. I think the pod would have still been successful without Mal but when Mal came it definitely hit a different gear to really propel it to be one of the top of the top podcasts
Yea it’s called on air chemistry. It hit a different gear because the nikka had a White boy and a thot initially. Once his boy came it was wraps. But honestly it coulda been Ice or someone else he was real tight with too and it woulda been the same story. Joe needed someone on air he truly connected with and Mal was that.
