Joe Budden confessed to battle rapper Math Hoffa that he and his podcast partners Mal and Rory turned down a $10 Million deal before signing with Spotify in 2018.
The retired rapper appeared on Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion Podcast where he divulged details on his career moves, relationships, and why he decided not to rap anymore.
“If you walk in and you put your nuts on the table and you believe in your sh*t, then you’re going to stand in the belief of your sh*t. And it don’t really mean nothing to me to say no to the $10 million deal. Because I’ve never had $10 million. I have zero idea what I’m missing when I don’t close the $10 million deal,” said Budden.
“I’m never taking $10 million, although I would like $10 million. I can’t tell other people how to go about their business. That’s a ballsy move. I’m a great poker player. Everybody’s not,” he continued.

I mean, I could be wrong but I don’t think they are getting a channel on Sirius. They are just with Sticther which is under the the Sirius umbrella. You can still hear their shyt on whatever podcast app you use.

Not really trying to pile on with the Joe Biden hate but it feels like he does it to himself. The problem with dude is he just ultimately makes himself out to be some self-destructive fukk boy who thrives on destroying relationships. Not saying Rory and Mal were some cornerstones of the show but you pretty much built this with them. They was practically with you from day one, so why not continue that empire with them? Instead he allows selfishness, ego and greed to take over and now these brothers is thriving without him. Where is he at? It’s sad because I rooted for him and how he was able to kickstart this second career.
SiriusXM has come with every new car for at least the last ten years and you can subscribe to the app only if you like. Howard just resigned for another $500M recently. They are doing fine.
