Rosenberg is a clown and everything he said was fukking stupid. Why does it matter if the video was promo or anything like that? Why not just praise the man for doing shyt? I’m not even a Drake fan and I can say that. Rappers have half naked women in their videos while they throw money and shyt and nobody says anything abou5 that. Let Drake have this one.

You know how many celebrities donate and do not make it public knowledge? That's why he got dragged because it look like he did it for clicks :manny:
Again..im not gonna assume like i know his intentions like the haters/stans are doing in here but this point is valid.

Hov catches maaaad flack for “allegedly” not supprtingthe black community, however...he never reacted in a hurt way to these allegations because he knows (and its been later revealed) that he does alot for the community in private, so that it doesnt draw attention to him.

Most kinda video broadcasting charitable acts is corny. On the flipside though, its a welcome change from what we’re use to seeing in rap videos. Whatever drake’s intentions were with this video is completely speculative and cant be proven; whether it was genuine (like stans are trying so hard to prove) or opportunistic (like the haters are trying to prove). All you have to go off his the man and his moves.

Just from talking to my friend who did some BTS work on the video, he said it seemed real genuine and wasnt “just for cameras”. He was actually vibin with the people a lil.

What I don't understand is why does Drake feel the need to call people like an Akademiks and Rosenberg to explain himself? Like they are the LAST people for him to explain himself too. I mean he's read the 48 laws of power and he clearly violetned Law 9.
hes insecure about himself bruh

part of what rosenberg said is probably true and it touched a nerve

Long story short people will whine and complain about EVERYTHING Drake does, no matter what... This time last year we had multiple threads full of the usual suspects asking why Drake doesn't do charity... People point out he does plenty of charity, they have a thousand reasons why it doesn't count...Fast forward to today and we got muhfukkas crying about charity being made public in the God's Plan video...At a certain point we have to just accept people hate Drake...
nothing he does ever seems genuine
just keeping it a buck
ive felt that way since he came out
hes a try hard

loved the video tho

Drake going up to HOT 97 for a interview would be a sight to see, hopefully he takes Ebro's request.
He won’t..and that’s the funny part about it. He won’t do radio interviews like a Hot 97 or breakfast club because when they ask that one question that strikes a nerve with him he is gonna react and he is gonna look funny in the light. Especially if it’s on camera.

Hence the reason why he did that interview with Semtex or Zane Lowe. So he can control the interview and he knows that they won’t push a question on him.

Drake has always been a try hard thoe...

True but who cares if he did the video for self promotion? If the money went where t was supposed to go then who gives a shyt who did it or what their actual goal was?

You can’t shyt on him for “not doing anything” then turn around and shyt on him when he shows that he did something. I don’t even like Drake, haven’t listened to a full album since So Far Gone because it’s not my thing, I’ll hate on him a bit when I hear his songs 3 times on the way to dropping’s my girls off to school but besides that I have no real problem with him because I don’t check for his music.

The

Who’s said drake moves funny ? Most of these rappers talk about how cool he is. Charlamagne said he had respect for dude off meeting him. You’re taking the word of a guy who said he’s salty because drake didn’t return his texts.

You niccas will ignore all the evidence that makes you look stupid and shout the little details to prove your agenda.

Dude has a history of charitable acts his whole career. He doesn’t really care about promoting himself via videos. More Life had no videos. Views had no videos. This song was number 1 3 weeks without a video. They just had a great idea for a video which would also help people

Nicca said “joe Budden situation”

I'm confused. Didn't he DM Joe Budden talking shyt instead of getting on wax and responding like a real rapper....? Or did Joe make that up?

If he usually keeps his charitable acts to himself, why feel the need to publicize it now? Because like Ebro said, it's popular to do at the moment. Period bro. And the fact that he (especially given his position) at this point in his career is calling up radio station hosts to cry over how people who get paid to have opinions view him, proves how much he felt like everybody should've just accepted what he did without questioning it. Lacking the self awareness to realize there's people who's gonna question why he felt the need to showcase it in the first place.

Y'all think everybody is hating on this dude when we're simply making observations. Nothing he does is genuine. He comes off as a corny ass, try hard who does the most. It's not just Coli nikkas who feel this way.

Peculiar at the moment my ass. This would’ve been hated on whatever the moment. It’s drake.

He’s the most super over analysed person in music. Joe Budden has a segment analysing ever tattoo dude puts on his body. And drake has smashed his girl so that energy is what it is. Drake gave joe half a bar and it still hurts dude to this day

It’s a fukkin music video idea and a good one. You niccas feel more confirmtable with rappers bragging about fukkin your girls and their bank accounts than them just showing genuine good deeds. The real question is why is that?

Seen it with Chance too. People are just scumbags.
