Rose has one of the best rosters in the league around him, with a top 2 coach in the league. Reggie talking like he is returning to a lost cause like the Bobcats or something.

It isn't, because this puts pressure on the front office - now this has created media around 'What are the Bulls really doing to bring in help for Rose?'. The majority of the public had the mindset that Rose does/did have enough help: #1 record in the league the last two seasons and TWO All-Star players, when reality says quite different.

We've seen what happened to them after Rose got injured - losing 4-1 to an 8TH SEED IN THE 1ST ROUND.

But shyt was a non-story, and it continued like that over the off-season and it was reflected by Pax and dem going off and signing Kirk Hinrich, Marcus Belinelli, Vladimir Radmanovic, Nazr Mohammed and Nate Robinson: in hopes that they could put the same product out there and no one will be any the wiser.

The sad thing is, in the east you can get by surrounded superstar players with shyt and still make the playoffs. You can even win a round or two. Some owners would give anything for that. In the NBA though your greatness is defined by titles. The Heat got the the east on lock. The Bulls don't have the fire power to beat them as currently constructed. Rose not playing this much would've sent a strong message had they lost a lot of games but in the East, they can still be a 5,6,7,8 seed without blinking.


I don't feel sorry for Rose though because A.I. had it the worst. Philly surrounded him with shyt the whole time he was there during his prime years but all anyone wanted to focus on was his practice habbits. Most owners care about balance sheets and profit margins so I'm glad Lebron left. I'm glad Wade, Lebron, Bosh all timed their free agency to be the same year so they could pick and choose where they go. Like all sports, players can't choose where they go so it's up to the owners to surround them with talent or risk them choosing to bounce.

I'm not saying that they shouldnt apply pressure on the organization. Lord knows thats what we're doing in Miami right now with the Dolphins to make a fukin' move which led to us overpaying for guys like Mike Wallace.

The thing is I have a problem with players either talking through their family members and friends and entourage.

As far as the brother also being the manager Ive always had a problem with having family/friends as representative in business deals. You never know who you are talking to: the friend/family or manager. I've never known any of these types of arrangements to bring out the best possible outcome. I think Lebron does the same sh!t too having all his friends involved in his business which makes no sense to me. I'm all for hooking your boys up but at a distance from where you trying to eat.
