so this were u dudes went
I'm not saying that they shouldnt apply pressure on the organization. Lord knows thats what we're doing in Miami right now with the Dolphins to make a fukin' move which led to us overpaying for guys like Mike Wallace.
The thing is I have a problem with players either talking through their family members and friends and entourage.
Business is Business. If D-Rose is unhappy LET D-ROSE SAY "I'm unhappy". Wether he does it in his own mute way or sign languaging with Reinsdorf but it MUST COME FROM D-ROSE. Not the girlfriend. Not the best friend. Not the manager. Not the housemaid who may have overheard something. From D-ROSE the man.
Where I'm from we call that "voyé roch kaché men" which means you're "throwing rocks while hiding your hands"
As far as the brother also being the manager Ive always had a problem with having family/friends as representative in business deals. You never know who you are talking to: the friend/family or manager. I've never known any of these types of arrangements to bring out the best possible outcome. I think Lebron does the same sh!t too having all his friends involved in his business which makes no sense to me. I'm all for hooking your boys up but at a distance from where you trying to eat.
i get your point but you really dont live in chicago and see how little coverage bulls basketball receive. all the major sports talk whether radio or panel spend the majority of they hour or 2 talking about the bears and cubs. only when the something like the blackhawks streaks will they take attention from bears or cubs and say something about another sport in the city. jerry has been getting by for years with just a mediocre product, and selling it as a hard working bunch
gar forman and paxson have pretty much gone unscathed because thibs has coached very nonathletic minimally skilled players to good records in the east. so they see 1st, 3rd seed and throw the bulls in the bushes.
what reggie is doing is damn near forcing jerry and garpax hands in getting a quality roster. and honestly with the way the coverage is in chicago, reggie speaking out is probably the only way to do it.
rose speaks out, and immediately the chicago media will malign him and he will be the scapegoat to the sinking ship. just this year they have switched they stance so much on this roster
first its a throw away season and the bulls are strapped financially due to the tax
now since reggie rose put them on blasts its
"rose teammates have been busting they ass for him and jerry has been spending money look at the numbers"
they been doing a spin job since reggie spoke out.
if its a throw away which the bulls pr people originally explained, why throw rose under the bus for hinting at sitting out the year?
and reggie is rose management, right or wrong on the fact its his fam, any superstar management would feel the exact same way reggie does. just cause he fam dont mean his opinion is not valid. what manager would send they 300 million dollar investment back on the court with "the replacements" knowing he on a healing knee and would have to put so much on that healing knee just to compete?
and its not just this season, this is the future, rose going to have to continue to go waay above and beyond to get this team to 1st in the east again. and with that still wont be good enough to win it all.
jerry is going to be under the microscope this off season, and is almost forced to have to improve this roster significantly.
if we have a roster that is great next season, we can thank reggie rose for that. cause i think without him putting them on blast, we still treading water talking about some fantasy ass 2014 plan.

was... or at least that's what I was led to believe.
