I'm curious to know who started this halfway-attempt at singing shyt in hip hop - there seems to be a mad trajectory in the past 5 years

these nikkas sound like they doozing off on the mic when they singing and think it sounds coo

When auto tune usage sky rocketed.

Royce is a superb storyteller. I would have cut the battle rap tracks, the middle to end of the lp are well done.

The jadakiss posse cut is so out of place on here.

Man these beats are terrible, but I have minimal expectations when it comes to lyricist in general when it comes to beat selection.

as a fan who constantly wished Royce would put more out there in song this is exactly what i wanted from him right now...

i was weirded out by him dropping an album so close to Prhyme 2 but now i get it since this one is so packed with life stories and introspection.

the parallels of his relationship with his father and the relationship between he and his own son made for some great content on the record and i can really relate to a lot of it. he wasnt wasting no time on this record.

Also, Ionno how folks are saying the production is wack. It's quite possibly his overall best produced album. Some of the beats are a bit experimental, as is the singing on his part, which occasionally doesn't work for me, but overall, I highly like the album. One of the strangest beats on the album, has some of the best bars/flow on 'Legendary'. Very strangely enough, my 5 year old over heard it and asked to listen to it (queued it on the censored version) and she was really liking it and the Song with Jada/Pusha T. My lil girl is type awesome sometimes.
