Them guys could give Jamar 3000 bars and it won’t change the truth in what Jamar said lol
At the end of the day Eminem far far far ahead jamar in any hip hop category tho any way you look at it

Eminem even mentioning him in a song is a huge win for Jamar cus fact is nobody even knows who he is

Brand Nubians had one classic album almost 30 years ago and Sadat n Puba were always the most famous members by far

If it wasn’t for vlad nobody would know jamar even still existed

Lord Jafar can say wtf he wants to say about Eminem or whoever, he's earned that.

But once Vlad started throwing Royce's name into the Griselda interview and kind of fishing for drama within the camp he opened the door for him to respond. I knew nikkas was gonna shyt on this and do the Benson 5'9 (lmao) bit but bringing his name and acting like he'd be wrong for not coming on Vlad to talk slick about ANY of his friends grounds for a response and probably exactly what Vlad wants.

Jamar has a wigga mentality, probably cause he grew up in the burbs with white folk. People like him view the hood like this mythical magical place and get wet over street shyt, it's disgusting.

The man who brought 5% teachings to the forefront of hip hop has a wigger mentality?
:patrice:

Now Rule (New Rochelle) has hoods too.

I do remember Sadat X saying LJ used to get busy ....I'm gonna take Sadat Xs eye witness account over your speculation.

nikkas in the hood don’t listen to Brand Nubian :mjlol:

Are nikkas in the hood bumping NWA? Public Enemy? Geto Boys? Run DMC? Kid N Play? Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince?

Why are you even making that kind of statement when new nikkas ftom this era dont bump any old school hip hop like that.

And then ya'll have the nerve to complain about how this is "Black culture" but quick to disregard those involved who actually contributed to the culture. SMH.

And when Brand Nubian came to Brooklyn in 2012 and did that block party...all the closed of blocks were crowded.

Do you hear his shyt bumpin in the hood? Of course not, lol. My point is who cares? Are "nikkas" bumpin Lupe in the hood? Royce? Monch? Black Thought? Doom? Los? Mos? What does that have to do with greatness? Jamar has a wigga mentality, probably cause he grew up in the burbs with white folk. People like him view the hood like this mythical magical place and get wet over street shyt, it's disgusting. Dudes in front of the bodega chillin dont have to listen to your music for you to be a phenomenal mc, even suggesting that is cornball shyt.

And another thing wiggas and suburb people like Jamar think is that everybody in the ghetto is a G or grimy or whatever.. some people in the hood actually like rappity rap and lyricism...and reading and going to work, etc...

Oh shyt it's the once in a blue moon coli post that's actually facts!!! Dapped

Some internet "nikkas" view the inner city like its a habitat full of predators only. even in the real jungle it's mostly fruit and plant eaters with the occasional lion thrown in... dont let that go over yall head *casanova voice*

Jamar said that shyt as if it’s a litmus test of who’s skilled or not.

I don’t now and I never gave a fukk about the what “nikkas in the hood are listening to” narrative

I just find it funny that LJ uses that as his main argument when Brand Nubian has never been the “hood nikkas” soundtrack.

And nikkas don’t want to admit it, but EM has done just as much for the culture as any black rapper has.

For someone who says LJ comments don’t mean shyt he sure sounded triggered by his opinions :mjlol:

It’s Hip Hop there will always be lists of who is great and there will always be nikkas opinions on who wack or whatever. If what that man say doesn’t mean shyt then chill do you or get in the booth. All this caping for em is disgusting. And Royce is my nikka, I feel like he is way better than em

But in post #56 you laughed when ol boy was schooling you that yes, Brand Nubians did get play in the hood. You didnt respond humble u responded as if it were jokes. And your still saying a false narrative when u say "Brand Nubian has never been the “hood nikkas” soundtrack."

Do you know how out of the loop u sound? Martin was a popular show in the 90's among the Black community. The Tommy Hearns episode was one of the most popular episodes and they used a popular Brand Nubians song that mentions Lord Jamars name as a bit for that episode.

Also.....Lord Jamar brought the 5% teachings to the forefront of hip hop during the golden era. Ems contribution to the actual culture in the new millineum doesnt match that at all. Brand Nubians literally sculpted the "back pack" term that Em was riding when he came in the game.

It is comical to even run with that narrative in support of anyone.

As I replied to him, Em had pretty much the same amount of “hood support” as Brand Nubian in his prime. So the argument is absurd at this point.

fukk you talmbout humble? You nikkas don’t deserve humble. You deserve a nikka laughing at the dumb shyt you saying. :mjlol:

nikkas in he hood don’t watch Martin :mjlol:

Again, that’s why I find the shyt laughable cause Em in his hay day was pretty much in the Brand Nubian lane. He’d tell you that himself. So for his main point in shytting on Em to be “nikkas don’t listen to Em in the hood”, that’s exactly his lane. Same nikkas that listened to BN in 1990 listened to Em in 2000. and I know cause I’m one of them nikkas.
