The Banjo goes hard as fukk.
This tape is dope but Royce has moments where
he suffers from rambling or straight goes to the next
bar and forgoes making it rhyme.
I'm loving the
rapid fire flow, the clever punch lines and the introspection
which I'm glad to see make a return.
Royce is one of the dopest rappers living in my opinion and this
tape , like his other projects proves it.

I agree. I hope the album is more focused than this (as it should be). Not sure if I'm feeling the new lazy flows either. Royce still has a superb flow as seen in the 2nd and last track. Tabernacle is a top 5 Royce track. Have high hopes for the new album.
it's a damn shame how slept on Royce has been through his career.... but what's REALLY a shame is how slept on hid lil bro Kid Vishis is (same goes for Crook's lil brothers)... that Mind Right Interlude is dope as hell

I remember buying a random Vishis EP a few years back but it didn't stay in rotation long. Hes git bars and can definitely spit but there's something about his voice and delivery that doesn't catch me.
He's kind of like Royce lite
This tape has me running back Royces discography and reminding me why hes in my top 10. So much piff

just listened to this in its entirety at the gym and im feelin it. restored my faith as a fan. may give it a few more spins before i even bring the album into rotation. he had a string of weak releases there w/ the last two bar exams and then success is certain where id lost any excitement in him even dropping new material.
