That trade tells you that some owners have no interest in winning. If I was a Memphis fan I would be pissed. This is probably the best team they have ever had and the best chance at a ring and they trade him because of the contract that they signed him to ?
Did you watch them beforehand? They weren't a contender in the first place. They couldn't keep defenses from collapsing on Z-Bo and Gasol.

I never wanted to see him leave Memphis. That was my sleeper 2K13 team. 
If they're not a contender in the first fukking place and keeping Gay puts them in the luxury tax, who gives a shyt if they trade him away? They're trying to build a contender, and that wasn't going to happen with Gay in the picture.
