I think he's too old now, but if he had tried to switch in his early 20's he maybe could've done something, these players know how to run angles, have good ball skills, and excellent conditioning.
On a broader note: with globalization now, I'm wondering if we'll see any more crossover between sports; BYU's got a good RB who grew up playing rugby in NZ, and Haloti Ngata could've been maybe the best player on the USA team if not for football. I could see some guys early in their pro career coming to play college ball; or a player who grew up playing both here switching as leverage against the NCAA/NFL cartel
