I can run somewhere between a 5.2 and 5.9 for the 40 yard dash.

das some ballzy shyt right there. the physical transition shouldn't be too hard especially coming from an endurance sport like rugby. the problem is where will he fit and can he pick up the schematics and nuances of the game? idk too much bout dude, but if he's got talent, he can be trained properly. wish him the best tho

some of homies back in college and then again few years back tried to get me into rugby. for some reason I just can't.
it seems like a perfect combination because I love football and I love soccer, and I like grittiness.
but for some weird reason it just never clicked for me :manny: its like I can see the appeal but I just dont find much enjoyment (not entertainment, but enjoyment) in it.
:ld:
maybe Im at that age where its hard to get into a new sport you're not used to knowing well. its weird

I played a bit when I lived in Canada a few years ago. The game ain't as hard on the body as football, but my body still couldn't do it. It took a few games to get used to how they read space. A rugby player in a zone blocking scheme would be deadly. I loved that shyt....I'm like Forrest though. I just like running on grass. Soccer is my football/rugby (running on grass) replacement now.
