The only thing about DFW is that Mexicans try to force their way into Black people spaces and force in their trash culture into Black people spaces as well.

You have to go North of US 380 or the area around the Sam Rayburn/Dallas Tollway to have minimal interaction with Mexicans.

What’s funny about this is that, I personally have never experienced any type of racism from the lighter Mexicans.

Not saying that it doesn’t happen, I’m sure it does.

But in my own personal experience, it’s usually the brown “Indios” and “Mestizos” that are on the bullshyt.

I actually noticed a similar thing with Dominicans in NYC. The ones who look "Blackish" can be the most outwardly prejudiced while the ones who resemble light skinned Ricans or Arabs can be chiller by comparison.

I used to live in San Antonio.

I actually found most Tejanos to be cool tbh.

But there's definitely subtle racism and the fact that they mostly favor their own when it comes to jobs.

Colorism and bias even towards their own group was rampant though. Light Skinned Mexicans loved to look down on the dark skinned/Indian-looking ones and Mexican Americans looked down on the immigrants or "mojados" more than many White Texans.

So, this isn't shocking to hear of some tension between Blacks and Mexicans out that way even if I didn't really experience it myself. I still think SoCal is worse in every aspect.

This is 100 percent true my girl mom is a brown skin Mexican and she always talk about the colorism that she dealt within the neighborhood and her family her 2 younger sisters are pale and that got the most love and her mom and aunts told her to stay out of the sun if she wants to be beautiful I can tell that shyt still hurt her

I'm not even that light skinned but I'm very hairy, have bushy eyebrows, and am caramel skinned and I've had Mexicans in San Antonio swear that I was Dominican or half Latino especially when I told them I was from New York.

I went to a majority (90%+) black NOTORIOUSLY bad high school in Brooklyn and NONE of the Latinos received any racist treatment.

In fact, they got along with everyone just fine and were even walking around saying "nikka". (I didn't condone it though).

Hispanics would have a terrible time in this country if we exhibited even an ounce as much racism as they do.

Actually yeah, I was pretty popular and my school was very small (it was a big campus that got divided into multiple smaller schools since it was so bad).

And again the Hispanics were so outnumbered, there were literally only a handful of them. I knew all of them. They were cool and never got bothered either.
