It's more so the dollar amount of his contract and the fact that he is going to opt in to the last year of the deal at $47 million. It's essentially the same reason Kevin Love is still in Cleveland as they don't want to part with the sweetners that it'd take to move the contract.

If Minnesota had to give up a first to help move Wiggins then why shouldn't OKC have to part with one to move Paul as well?

Cp3 is better than Bledsoe. Why the hell would okc give up picks for a worse player. The bucks are the ones that would hope cp3 elevated them to the finals.

The Bucks lack a floor general, perimeter threat, and a clutch killer. We get all of that in one player with CP, the last piece.

Well from what the media said OKC told billy they were blowing up the team and he said F that I am gone.

So mostly CP3 is gone anyway and we know how cheap OKC ownership is. If the owner tells presti they don't want to pay CP3 and get rid of him no matter what. Then he will do as his boss/bosses say whether adding a pick or not.

For the most part, the only way you get off of a bad contract is either attaching picks and/or young players. That's why the Clippers/Detroit deal for Griffin was one of the dumbest trades in NBA history.

His cap hit is just too high for them to unload without having to attach at least a pick and/or pick swap.
