Because you have a legit shot to be back in the Finals this year. Even a #1 draft pick is not a sure thing.

Better off putting proven talent on a championship quality team than hoping the big kid from Texas will be a star.

Bet the whole franchise on getting a ring this year cause the Cavs will never make another ECF without Lebron let alone get another ring.

I actually agree with you but knowing that he won't commit puts a strain on things.

Rather I'm a shytty person or not is completely inconsequential. The fact remains that whatever I am, I own it.

You don't. Therefore you are lying.
The exact terrible logic used by racists and deplorable Republicans to justify their ignorance and miserable worldviews. Trash people

No thanks :camby:

I'd imagine it's hard to form any kind of irrational "we believe" type confidence when your leader is a verifiable coward who has a record of quitting teams and shaking town when the cards aren't substantially stacked in his favor... The entire organization, to a man, suspects he's outta there this summer... Which means management isn't moving that Brooklyn pick, the rest of the roster is playing uninspired, Bron is playing for stats trying to cheese another MVP on his way out while not even pretending to give effort on defense, and kyrie in all his woken brilliance is looking like a clairvoyant for taking control of his own destiny and getting the fukk outta there instead of wasting a year being bron's pawn after the original play to have him traded fell through

The Decision III will be Bron's championship this year

@Gil Scott-Heroin come put this boy back in his place.

Nah... I think you're just scared of him becuz he's always frying your ass.

You still have the GOAT avi tho.

You're saying all of that to say that he be frying you.

You were so quick to call me "shameless" on some pot-kettle shyt. Difference is I own that shyt. I don't like LeBron. Who here doesn't know that after 5 1/2 years? You're the one that will try to mask your Warriors hate with "objectivity".

Point is this: You're full of shyt.

Rather I'm a shytty person or not is completely inconsequential. The fact remains that whatever I am, I own it.

I don't even need to lace them up, breh. You're killing him. I guess some folks just don't like what they see in the mirror.

So one is a verifiable coward who quits on teams when the card arent in his favor and the other is clairvoyant for taking control of his destiny. :jbhmm:

I don’t think he’s got the legs to be the guy who sets the tone on defense anymore. He’s a 15 year guy who’s played somewhere around 52,000 minutes and has to do so much on offense that it’s not reasonable to expect that from him anymore. Admittedly I haven’t watched much of them this season, but it seems like every time he sits that the offense has a hard time getting any open looks, a lot like how they would struggle when he was off the floor in previous years. I think he’s got the legs left to play well on offense and well on defense, but I don’t see how he has much left for defense anymore when he has to carry so heavy a load on offense.
And why exactly did they struggle when he was off the floor?

Wonder why a team built for bron ball by LeBron struggles when bron isnt on the floor, brehs

Even when they put him on lesser players there's been times he's put zero effort. I'm not asking him to be kawhi, klay,or draymond but don't let @Buckeye Fever drop 50 on you:dame:

I feel like he still puts in effort on D in short spurts, but it's mostly for him to chase stats. Off ball, he just sags off his man to play free safety to get those huge steals that turn into his run outs or to get help defense blocks. His steals are approaching Miami Heat levels and he might set a career high in blocks.

When those moments happen, it's great ... steals are like pick-6 touchdowns for him and blocks are momentum plays that get him amped up to put in effort.

When those moments don't happen (which is like 95% of the other possessions), he's letting other teams get into their offensive sets with 0 resistance and he's playing really bad positional/rotation defense to help his teammates if the play doesn't get funneled directly at him.

There’s a bunch of reasons. This year chief among them is that they don’t really have anyone else who can create off the dribble with any consistency. IT has been gone most of the year, hasn’t gotten his legs under him, and the best perimeter player after that is probably 36 year old wade.
