Lol what do you even mean by "leverage" in this case? The stated purpose of signing short term deals was to keep the team accountable for spending and team improvement (which worked, they made every trade, signing, and fired/hired every coach he’s wanted)... Logically, that leverage was reversed the end of last season...After that, refusing to say whether you want to stay with the team (the whole time leaking stories about your flirtations with that team and this team) makes it irresponsible for any front office to make decisions assuming you're coming back... Basically, if Bron cared about having the best shot at winning this year and with the cavs in the future... He'd commit so the cavs know to plan for having an all-time in his last prime years instead of preparing to rebuild once he leaves them high and dry with all the signings he forced them into (like the ones Bron stans cry about all day now... Thats his right to have the leverage but he needs to understand nobody is going to want to play here and the organization isn't going to trade away picks to get him help. He's just hurting himself unless he's planning his escape already.
