sure if you are talking about maybe legal. maybe valid keys, from maybe nefarious sellers.

Might as well just pirate it at that point

It was all legit. Check the batman thread when it released. These prices don't usually happen through Steam but most times they are Steam codes. And even then, its the point of competition in pricing. For me to even consider digital an option, there needs to be more avenues than just PSN and Xbox Marketplace to rely on. No different than us buying PS+ or Xbox live codes from people on Ebay who are selling them for $15-$20 cheaper than you can get them in their respective stores.

i used to only want physical copies of video games until my shelf was full of games i didn't even finish and i was running out of space for new ones. the first game i bought a digital copy of was starcraft 2 wings of liberty and most of my games since has been digital. you still get a digital booklet and everything so all you're missing out on is the box :yeshrug::scust:

That's not a great deal. Arkham Knight physical goes for that price brand new right now. Some even cheaper
Its still a good deal. Its about what you would spend if you bought physical at release then traded it in.

Consoles are closed by nature, so you'd never get as many options as PC

I've also seen plenty of people get burned by buying codes from re-sellers.

Sure PC has more deals. I was just saying there are plenty of deals for digital on consoles.

EA access is one of the best deals out even compared to PC prices.

Its still a good deal. Its about what you would spend if you bought physical at release then traded it in.

I spent $51.25 including tax on Batman at launch. Hated the game and traded it in 3 weeks later (about the time it would take someone to beat it and trade it in) and I got back $42 from BestBuy.

For Dying Light, I spent the same amount at BB for its launch and Target was running a deal where they gave you back $60 for the trade-in a few weeks afterwards. I jumped on that Gamestop pricing error that gave you the game and season pass for $20. I now own a digital copy of Dying Light.

These are examples of things I couldn't do if I just bought a game digital. The argument is compelling enough for console players.
