See, here's where you famously start acting obtuse. That membership costs $30 for two years, right now. At the time I bought it in November, I got it for $7 because of a promotion they were running. Don't act like you don't get your money's worth after only a couple purchases and trade-ins.

what you are doing is comparing the absolute best case scenario to a more common scenario on the digital side.
I could create a scenario and say
well I got $20 off with microsoft rewards, I got a 10$ gift card for preordering, and me and my homie went half on the game, so I only spent $15.
sure its a very possible scenario, but its not typical.
