With Sony's recent announcement and Microsoft already putting an awful lot of their cards on the table, if its going to be epic its down to the likes of Nintendo, Valve, Bethesda etc.
Being honest, E3 doesn't match the hype anymore.
Microsoft claiming its gonna be their best ever.
Bethesda has their own confrence for the first time ever.
PC has its own confrence for the first time ever

With a billion dollars they could probably buy Konami in its entirety and these fukks think they'd spend that cash to buy one game franchise.
Not only do I buy the rumor, I can already see it.
It's still a huge franchise with games, movies, comics, novels, collectibles, and art pieces sold. PT, if nothing else at this point can help those who are taking over the franchise now to look in a direction that sent the gaming world on fire with that demo. That shyt was an event all over the internet and the appetite for a new Silent Hill is clearly there.
It becoming an exclusive is definitely a win in Microsoft's favor and the reason the last couple of Silent Hills were trash was because IMO Konami basically pulled the plug on console gaming years ago. They just had projects that were already in full development and it would be wise for them to see a return on their work.

You guys on here are seriously diminishing the value that Silent Hill has within the horror genre, is it a niche? Yes, but overall the series is still viewed positively.
If Kojima and Del Toro aint doing it, what's the point.
