I don't think they're pulling the plug because of the amd partnership. However, they weren't really clear in the video below. I assume it would be pretty costly to break a deal with AMD. I think Microsoft needs to clear the air and tell people what their actual plans are for next gen. I feel the longer they wait, then it will increase the number of people leaving the ecosystem. The bad part about sub service for a business is people aren't attached to ecosystem because they didn't build a library. So, it may not be hard for people to switch to playstation or pc.
