But that literally hasn’t been happening for generations. The reason the ps5 started at 400 dollars isn’t because they were afraid of xbox it’s because they need as many people to buy into as possible to make money from the storefront.

Sony pricing themselves out of the casual market and or giving more leverage to steam or mobile is the real competition not microsoft


Its the same reason Nintendo doesn’t want to raise the switch 2 prices, it’s not because they have competition its becuase they know their market.

It would obviously be customizable, have some decent exclusives, make it cheaper than pre built pcs

They got like 7 different switch titles spaces out to cover the Xbox section but they worried about Xbox.

Ya'll still taking this as if Nintendo is also not at all competion with Sony. While not as direct, they still an alternative enough that Sony couldn't just go insane with pricing either.
