the only problem I see is 2026 which was never a console refresh in the first place

people are constantly lying to themselves everytime I get on this website
if xbox does sell hardware and everyone complains, and they put gamepass on PC and try for nintendo and streaming
then raise the price, of course they are going to try to go full streaming, thats what people have been saying for 3-4 years. Why buy an xbox when I can just grab a controller and stream from my TV

Xbots have been arguing that Xbox would not be turning into just a publisher, or just gamepass.

Went to Walmart this morning and they only had Xbox controllers.
Not a single xbox game or xbox console in sight.
They didnt even have a section for them.
Only sections were a full wall for Switch and Switch 2 and a half a wall for PS5.

1. Hardware/performance doesn't matter. Who cares about the hardware when you have the cloud? (Remember when Forza physics were only possible with the cloud? Go to PSN and tell me what game you find there.)
2. Exclusive games don't matter. Who buys consoles for the exclusives?
3. Console sales don't matter. Why buy consoles anymore when you can play the same game everywhere?
4. Video game sales don't matter. Why buy games when you can rent them?
5. Price increases don't matter. What ya'll don't have $10 more dollars a month?

So yall are defending egregious price increases for the most expensive but least popular console on the market with "if you broke just say that" ?

Gamepass is the most expensive service and the Xbox brand name has been dragged all through the mud with the future looking considerably more shaky than either Sony or Nintendo. Buying an Xbox in 2025 is an objectively bad purchasing decision at this point


Holiday sales numbers gonna be an absolute bloodbath
