an incompletion stops the clock. exactly what happened on previous GB drive when they threw it trying to pick up a first and ended up giving extra 40 seconds on the clock/timeout for seattle
quarless dropped the pass. that had nothing to do with seattle's defense.

Let's not forget them going 15-1 in 2011 only to get SMASHED by the Giants in the Divisional Round at home.

I understand they won the Super Bowl in 2010 with him at the helm, but that was an aberration. Denver just fired Fox because they know he's not the guy to take them all the way even though they're like 38-10 the last three seasons.

dudes are reactionary as fukk

Im sure mike mccarthy was the one who let the ball go through his hands on the crucial onside kick
mike maccarthy was the DB who couldnt defend a jumpball thrown to unathletic white TE

:mjlol:

The point is, it shouldn't have gotten to that point. Are you even reading the thread? @Regular_P made an excellent point about 4th and 1 calls. You don't leave so many points on the field being conservative, we aren't even discussing onside kicks.

Every analyst is saying McCarthy playcalled like a shook boy but I guess it's a Madden ting :manny:
it was a two-possession game and seattle hasnt done shyt in pass offense the entire game. you are supposed to get onside kicks. they tried passing for first on previous drive and they failed, and had to punt anyway.
you let your defense handle this shyt, especially since they were dominant. it was 100% absolutely right call.

but its easy to judge when hindsight is 20/20.

Regardless of whether he dropped it or a defender knocked it down, it still stopped the clock. In fact, if they would have ran it there that's either another 30-40 seconds off the clock OR Seattle calls a TO

The D played amazing. After that burnett int, they should have at least try to play field position by getting a couple first downs, but no. 3 straight running plays? :camby:i feel bad for burnett because he played his int smart but his garbage ass coach thought it was under a min and seattle had no time outs :mindblown:

McCarty is not to blame for this one. A Rod could barely move out there and thats why he played conservative and ran the ball. The 2 plays that cost them the game had nothin 2 do wit coaching

If McCarthy had called the game appropriately it would have never got to that point. He coached like a p*ssy this game(this may or may not have been because of the Rodgers injury)
