This one is really difficult... Run DMC is one of the most important groups in hiphop history...they broke ground so that other groups (NBN included) could succeed on a larger platform. And they had some bangers.....their first 4 albums were dope.

But I've gotta go with Naughty on this.....Treach's skills are ridiculous and Naughty basically invented the hiphop summer anthem and then owned the summer for more times than I can recall right now...

I'll go with one of the greatest if not greatest groups ever in Run DMC

Naughty was dope and I love their first two albums...Treach was a beast in his prime and one of the more underrated EMCEEs.

pretty much.

JMJ was the better DJ but he didnt do many beats for run dmc. meanwhile kay gee is prolly a top 20 producer.

i can understand dmc over run.

but i dont know about Bone though, they probably had a stint where they were more popular than the WU, but not even close overall/legacy wise, when you factor in overseas its a wrap.

dog. theres been a gazillion bone vs wutang threads. i remember the online hip-hop community revolved around bone thugs vs wutang.

bone was def more popular. its just like pac vs big. wutang & biggie had the east, but pac & bone had the rest of the country.

now when you talk outside entities like the burbs & overseas, they both have that. the difference is that wutang advertises their overseas following. same thing with the legacies. wutang had/has their business together and the media in their back pocket but niccas know the real deal.

make a thread and as always on here, half of it will be about how wutang got no play in ***insert poster's*** hood.:sas1:
