Dude has done pretty good so far with what he's been given. One of the better heels in the company and he still gets a decent reaction from the crowd.

The only thing is he's overshadowed by Lana that no one really cares that he actually is pretty good out there. Lana is like the sun, simultaneous adding to and taking away from his luster. Lana is definitely the more interesting of the two for obvious reasons, but Rusev can work. Too bad he about to be deavored to Cena.

Rusev has done some shyt that has impressed me, although I know he has spent time in NXT for a while.
  • He sold really well with the Ankle injury against Swagger
  • Last night with the Flag Botch, he improv'd really well by swinging the flag and immediately blowing a fukking gasket.

Rusev is amazing. It's crazy when you can see a trainers DNA in his students, and him being trained by Rikishi makes a ton of sense. Just like Rikishi, he doesn't have the weaknesses of typical big man workers. He moves well in the ring, does everything explosively, and can actually fukk around and sell.

Most deserved monster push since Umaga.

This is what happens when you slow build and don't change the gameplan.

When he gets the opportunity to face a top guy it becomes intriguing.

His super slow build on mic time is solid too. He really says all he needs to say and it's good enough for me. Can this character ever become a face though?

I was dead set on disliking him as soon as he made his debut because of his passé character but he's definitely turned me into a fan over the past few months. He's superb in the ring and does a lot of little things well. I actually kind of like him on the mic too, he doesn't sound like he's a dude playing a character.

Nikita Koloff became one of the biggest babyfaces in NWA/WCW. No different here. Rusev is easy to get behind. Look how crazy they have to go with the pro-Russia shyt to get heel heat on him every week. The second he superkicks a heel the place will blow. Rusev has the goods.
