Empire strikes back
so basically what youre saying even if you have an efficient offense and are scoring a ton of points, you cant be an elite qb because you dont pass enough and hence dont have the volumeThat's always been the barometer for how you judge elite QBs. Just because you find a great QB as useful as a backup long snapper doesn't mean that's how the rest of us who watch football view them. Elite QBs are judged by their statistical performance in the regular season. You get judged on your playoff win loss record when you've already established yourself in the league

being a good defensive team actually prevents the qb to be good in this theory, right ?

and even with that nonsense, statistically, I don think you realize how good two years russ wilson has had
52 tds, 19 ints. playing with no #1 WR in a division that includes 49ers, arizona and stl defenses (as opposed to say titans, jags) is extremely good
its one of the best 2-year qb start of careers of last decade statistically. literally the only thing it lacks is volume lack of yards because of fewer attempts.

going to be a lot of hurt feelings this year.
The emergence of Kearse, Baldwin, Luke Wilson, Christine Michael(good out the backfield) and a healthy Percy and Zack Miller is more then sufficient. Looking at that group of guys there isn't a clear cut #1 option in the traditional sense but the thing about Russ is that he spreads the ball around so well, Baldwin and Kearse might show out for a couple of games while the others are waiting for their opportunities. Pete Carroll really just brought USC swagger, schemes and depth minded roster set-up to the NFL.

one of the all-time great football calls. To have enough balls to make that decision on 4th and 9 with the season on the line.
