One has to ask the question -- would Kawhi have been better off staying with the Raptors? :patrice: That was the last time he played 60 games; it's been downhill ever since.
Firmly believe if they ran back the 19 team, Raps had a great chance to get back to the finals

Ah well...he made his choice :manny:

ATL - Cleveland Ave.
The Rockets went from contenders with Paul to also-rans with Westbrook. They blew up their team to accommodate his play-style too and it didn't matter.

Most people thought OKC was tanking when they swapped Paul and Westbrook and wound up in the postseason anyway. Damn near beat the Rockets themselves in the Bubble (Westbrook was trash in the three games he played).

Those OKC teams with Paul George had enough to win at least one round and they never did. Is anyone surprised? Westbrook never shot 40% in the playoffs and Lillard took embarrassed him.

Washington didn't have a lot of talent but this guy shot 33%/25% in the playoffs. That's like Trae Young and we clown him all the time on here but that's not Westbrook's fault?
The Rockets team was playing well before they traded Capela. They knew he had a plantar fasciitis injury and wouldn't be available the rest of the season. That was a smart trade that kept them competitive. Russ suffered a hamstring injury and had to rush back while injured because Harden was in the midst of one of his playoff flameouts.

The OKC team with Melo won their non Melo playoff minutes. He really did hamper them that much. The following season both PG and Russ played injured. PG had surgery on both shoulders after Rd1 and Russ had nerve damage in his hand that would cause it to go numb for stretches of time when hit. He too had off season surgery

Washington was an island of misfit toys with mediocre coaching. They still snatched a win off the 76ers. Russ suffered an ankle injury that hampered him that series.

Injuries have been a major driver behind these post season struggles-- but everyone plays dumb unlike how they do when other stars get hurt and shout it to the heavens so they don't get lambasted.

That's what I'm getting at. Sometimes, the choices your family might push you towards, may not be the best choice for you in the long run.

Y’all funny af , y’all hyped them wakk ass Lebron stats while gettin sonned 1-9 vs the warriors in the finals (cuz they beat dude at his team stacking ways) but caping hard for Westbrook putting up these hollow stats in L’s vs a team that would beat Phoenix fully healthy
