When a reporter asked him why he was like “I wish I was in a position to just skip a year financially, but I’m the type of player if I miss a year, my career is over.”

Saw the same thing with local salons and barbershops. All it took was one place to open up when they were allowed to and it forced everyone else’s hand. Open up or get left behind, aka put your life at risk because if you don’t, this guy is.

he’s been in mlb for 8 years..,was even an all star once

probably just living a life that’s above his actual pay grade ...that’s probably why a lot of these players need to show up ...making 550k a year which is the minimum (not sure if he does make that) ..but living a 2 million dollar lifestyle ..when realistically he should probably be living life comfortably
