The Lakers gave up a lot to get Westbrook and as a point guard he failed. All of the other side stories are irrelevant.

Westbrook will go down as an all time great, but he never won. KD didn’t want to play with him and left. It is what it is. Lebron is responsible for getting championship rings for more players than anyone else.

What exactly was the point of the will smith anecdote?
It’s not really explained well in the tweet, you have to read the article for the full context.

Basically Pelinka told the team Will Smith was going to come and talk with the players. After hearing this, Bron said “y’all got it” and walked out with AD following him. Russ and Pat then get into an argument on why the rest of the players have to stay and Bron and AD are allowed to leave. After all this Bron and AD eventually get pulled back in (implied to be done at the behest of Ham) and now Bron all of a sudden is acting all interested and dominating the meeting with Smith even though he didn’t even want to join initially.

I completely understand Westbrook’s point of view here :yeshrug:

It was a weird thing for Russ to "care" about. He's been in the league a minute I'm sure he's seen worse. :mjlol: That whole story seemed out of place.

None of this matters because he absolutely fukking sucked with the Lakers. Then he went on to suck everywhere else he’s been since. I don’t care about a few spurts of decent play in the regular season, we all know who the fukk he is by now. Anyone still harping on this are the same people who were saying in 2020 that Lou Williams could still average 15 or some other nonsense. nikkas are tied at the hip to their stupid ass beliefs.

Now we gonna do it all over again when this nikka is ass for the Kings.

I don’t know what the fuuck happened to Russ mid range.

He was somewhat decent inside the ark his first few years in OKC and was a streaky three point shoot but with the Lakers…:picard:

Those fukking loud ass bricks he was throwing up could’ve been heard all the way in West Covina…:russ:

Don’t matter, Bron fans will still blame Russ for not walking out with him and coming back in, and say, “see this is why the Lakers couldn’t win with Russ, because he didn’t follow Bron’s lead”. :pachaha:

Bron fans gonna DEFLECT and talk about everything Russ did “wrong” on court, but not the premise and the elephant in the room. We saw this all before with Shaq, but as time went on people saw the truth about him.
