Russell Wilson is 0-10 when his defense allows 25 points or more

People saying he doesn't have many weapons fine but Lynch is the most important piece to that offense and he makes it go without him they are not the same

Wilson has also had the luxury of playing with a great defense and unlike a lot of these qb's who don't and need to put up 20-30 points to win Wilson could score in the teens and win. He's asked to simply make a big play or two a game and can go long droughts without scoring because the d was their to keep them in it. He's had games where he did nothing and they still won because of the d.Now that the d isn't the same and the offense has to finally score some points he's not as good.

They have had no issues running the ball in 2 of the 3 games Lynch has been out. The offense is run based. The team is not built to have shootouts. They have never passed blocked that well and their passing game has always looked haphazard. It's basically let Russ run around and throw it up. They have never had the greatest receivers but now they really don't have receivers. The one guy that they have the could be a dynamic receiver, they are trying to turn into an extra run blocker . But's hey if you wanna put all the struggles on him, then you gotta put the 1 SB ring and 2 SB appearances in his first 3 years on him too.

They asked Russell to throw against the best defensive backfield that year with the best running back right by him on the fukking 1

Nobody is putting all the blame on him where simply saying he isn't asked to do nearly as much as the top tier guys.

I think Wilson's a nice little crafty qb but when people want to put him with the very top qb's that's just assinine

You can't knock guys when they don't win (generally because they don't have the right squad around them) AND knock guys for having the right squad around them.

It's not like he has the advantages of the top guys either. I don't think you can fully judge him as and individual until he has an offense tailored around him, like the top tier guys. You put Brady behind a shytty line with no receivers and a very bland offense and he's gonna have his struggles when asked to score a lot too.

I'm not a Russel Wilson stan but this stat is silly. Very few teams have both a high powered offense and a high powered defense.

Since he's been in Seattle, it's been all about their defense and never about their passing game. I do not expect Seattle to drop 40 on teams that drop 30 on them...

It's not what he can do. He's built to throw off play action and those improvised plays where he rolls out and finds someone. He is not very good from the pocket so to expect him to be a qb to sling it 40 times a game is not his strength.

They built their offense around him in order throw the fewest passes per game in the league during his career?

08 Steelers had 506 pass attempts and 460 rush attempts. Yeah really pass first. #1 defense BTW.
09 Saints were # 6 in rushing yds. Really mediocre. Defense was a TO machine. There is a reason this is the only squad Drew won a ring with, only squad he came close with. Still a beast though.
10 Packers had a top 5 D and ARod was beast and one of the GOATS
11 Giants held two of the greatest offenses ever to 37 pts combined
12 Ravens were number 11 in rushing. 15 in passing.
14 Tom is one of the GOATs and mediocre run games don't put up damn near 200 yds in championship games

Why we stop at last 7 years though? 07 Giants were 4th in rushing and 21st in passing. 06 Colts magically transformed into a running/run stuffing team to win a title while Peyton wasn't that good. 05 Steelers top 5 in rushing, bottom 3rd in passing. 04 Pats were 7 in rushing and 11 in passing.

Point is you see more thorough overall teams winning than teams led by their gunslinger.
