Exactly why QBs and other players should be asking for as much fully guaranteed at signing instead of the other fugazzi numbers that teams can wiggle their way out of.

The counting stats look OK on their face but if you watch the guy actually play he's in serious decline.
Payton never liked Russ though. Russ can still start for 10-15 teams easily in the NFL.
He can, but that contract price is going to have to come down and there's no guarantee that other teams can mask his deficiencies like Payton can.

I don't watch much football these days. It just seems like they use him as a scapegoat.
I think that Russ would be a decent fit on the Falcons. They're a run heavy team with decent offensive weapons being held back by their lack of a QB(and their idiot HC, but that's a different discussion).
Russ still has the fastball on his deep throws. In a mediocre division they can win the NFCS next year with Russ.
No he can't lol. Boy can't reason defenses presnap and is a check down artist at this point
