If the Vikings were going to go after Russ, then they'd be better off just running it back with Cousins.

The problem with Russ going forward is that you'd have to have faith in your coaching staff and scheme to help mask his current limitations. This isn't the Russ of Seattle anymore as the mobility just isn't there now.

:snoop:

DO YOU WANT TO PAY YOUR QB MONEY OR NOT

Y’all are nuts. So now Kirk makes sense huh :heh:

Kirk and Russ will come at drastically different prices. When it’s time to pay QBs that’s when all the fan and media delusion gets thrown out the window. Bc those teams see what’s out there and pay up accordinly. Kirk gettin paid. Russ already got paid and is now a post-buyout guy so he’ll be cool with a lesser deal. 2 totally different price points, 2 totally different level players. It’s only fans and media that lazily throw them into the same category of ‘mid’. Kirk ain’t mid at ALL

Plus you can get cheaper versions of current day Russ in the draft yearly.

With Russ last two years on tape, I can't see another team giving him a chance to start right now.

He's a backup or out the league.

:laff:Extreme delusion. Richard Pryor level comedy. First Take has completely destroyed fans’ ability to rationally gauge the QB market

I think that Russ would be a decent fit on the Falcons. They're a run heavy team with decent offensive weapons being held back by their lack of a QB(and their idiot HC, but that's a different discussion).

Russ still has the fastball on his deep throws. In a mediocre division they can win the NFCS next year with Russ.

Nah
We good

Yeah the draft is a crap shoot but it’s gotten a lot better the last few years. Round 1 and 2 QBs are producing now and producing early. Outside of that 2021 bullshyt taking a QB in the first couple rounds has worked out as long as you don’t reach.

And this up coming draft will have 6-7 QBs going in the first couple round

No, it hasn’t and no they’re not :heh:

1- You’re forgetting that Denver is 7-8. 7-8 teams don’t do this. Bc outside of the top 10, hell probably top 15, it’s scraps for QB prospects.

I would list em but im lazy. Long story short in the last 10 years franchise QBs outside the top 15 it’s Lamar, Brock Purdy, Jordan love, and Dak. That’s it. Out of like 20-25 drafted in rounds 1-3. It’s more than rare.

2- The QBs you’re thinking are as good as Russ—-and they are not——have a ‘worst in the league’ floor when teams figure them out. Aidan O’Connell, Sam Howell, Bailey zappe. That’s who you thinking of and they are a different level of whatever trash yall think Russ is :pachaha: QBR don’t lie

So a very important thing here: you have to pay for a QB that won’t bottom out pause. By paying Russ instead of rolling with one of those guys, yea it may look the same at times but you are paying for the insurance, that buffer. And higher upside. Don’t wanna pay? Cool watch him implode like Howell, Dobbs, Nick Mullens, Devito, etc

Again, fickle fans. See a QB look hot one week and think you can juke the system. Nah! Lmao

You are the only fool here advocating for paying Russell goddamn Wilson. :mjlol:

Dude is a washed, shytty teammate, who is disconnected from everyone and expensive as hell. Who would want that?

The Broncos made a mistake when they traded for him and then another mistake when they signed him to that huge deal. Now they are trying to get out of it which is the right thing to do.

They will most likely lose out and pick somewhere between 8-10. They are in a prime position to trade up or even take one of the day 2 QBs who all have a higher ceiling than current Russ.
