This nikka threw 4 picks and got to the SB. It works both ways. He plays within a great system and has the best RB in the league which creates many opportunities for him. A QB is nothing without a ground game. He has the best in the league. Kearse and Baldwin aren't great but they do make plays when they need to. And if you thought his receivers were shyt now...just wait and see what crap they'll find with Russ's contract taking up all that cap space.

He's not going to cover up all those flaws. Can he be the top dog on that team averaging 2-3 times as many attempts as he does now? I don't think so.

Yes he played poorly in the superbowl and that game against green bay, however he had some magnificent games too (Arizona, Washington etc.)

He did not have the best ground game in the league, Tony Romo did. That offensive line was so good, Tony could take his time back there, and DeMarco was breaking Jim Brown's records.

He can be a top dog, but he has to have the same talent level of receivers that other guys have. TY Hilton is a damn good receiver, but he's not at the top level. That being said, TY shyts alllll over Seattle's receivers.

You saying that Russell's contract will fukk shyt up, you're forgetting two things: the cap increase, and the fact Marshawn Lynch is probably done in a couple years. So they're not going to be paying a RB anything close to the 12 mil Beastmode is getting.

Russell's agent is in his ear telling him some stupid shyt. :smh: We're going to pay him whatever he asks for and it will turn us from a dynasty into just a very good team.

Yeah his agent is telling him the $$$$$$$ he'd command on the open market. You can't possibly compare what Russell should get based on contracts signed when the cap was 30 million less. Cap should be around 150 million in 2016. It was 123 million in 2012.

youre arguing stats. You're not going to replace a quarterback with his combination of instincts and athleticism and arm talent. That's not even opinion, that is objective fact. If you let him walk they will spend years at least looking for a suitable replacement. Meanwhile RW will go to a different team, perform like he always has and eat. Not a good move.

They're going to pay him Idk why were discussing this. Letting him walk is a bad business move period.

No one ever considers the probability of Russell Wilson improving. QBs don't reach their peak until age 29-31. Him walking into the league a good QB doesn't disprove this

OK. He had magnificent games. So did Kaep...and a handful of other QBs who get criticized heavily here.

As for the ground game, do you know of a better RB? Marshawn is not only a great back but he is a leader on that team. He's also very intelligent back there. Reminds me of Frank Gore, but Frank is on the downside of his career.

I don't think he can be a top dog until he gets better in some areas. He will have to do a better job inside the pocket. He bails out of the pocket too early and to be honest all that running around shyt will not last forever.

His receivers aren't great but they are excellent freelancers.

Fukk the cap increase, if hey're paying him $25M it's going to be a problem. He's making chump change right now...wait till he's making bank, Seattle will have to get rid of some key players.

You wanna pay him 25M and then go find some top end receivers and pay them how much? Something's got to give.

This doesn't happen with other QB's on here so why with Russ? Has he improved from 2 years ago?

If he plays at this current level his whole career, he's a sure fire hall of famer

:whoa:

Averaging 3300 yards, 24 tds and 8 ints a season will not get you into the HoF in this era. Dude would need to get in of the strength of his wins and SB victories. Would probably need 4 or 5 total rings.
