Bro, they have shown some of their best equipment already and gotten shown up by gulf war era and earlier weapons from the US and NATO. It's NATO that hasn't even shown their best equipment yet
Russias only advantage at this point is bodies. But they don't utilize that resource well so, that may not even be enough.
They are charging scientists who developed their "unstoppable hypersonic missiles" with treason because those shyts were all shot down by older gen PATRIOT systems with ease lol.

What big guns? Nukes? Russia is almost pariah state status. Any use of a nuke would result in retaliation using conventional arms by everybody. It would be suicide.

By the way, I'll have to find it, but I remember Putin himself admitting that Russia can't compete with the West technology. It was a moment of candid frankness when he was speaking to western journalists. I'll have to find it. I can't remember if it was an article or video. He followed that up by saying that they do have nuclear weapons and it helped even things out for them.

On paper, Russia should have rolled up Ukraine in 2 months. Their military is much weaker than I think most people realized

I mentioned it before I erased it because I think I got the exact model of plane wrong. There is a model of plane the US created after it got freaked out by the supposed capability of some plane the Russians developed. Eventually the US out of fear ended up creating one of the best aircrafts around at the time and it turned out the capabilities of Russia's plane was bullshyt. But, the point I was making is historically Russia's geopolitical doctrine has been to over-estimate their abilities and to try and scare their enemies in submission.
Like you said, Putin has thug energy and uses thug tactics to enforce might. He straight up told Boris Johnson he can kill him anytime he wants in order to discourage him from interfering with the Ukraine. Didn't work.

The west conversely undersells their capabilities to conceal their power. Kind of the opposite tactic. For the longest time, the US claimed it didn't have any hypersonics and even mentioned a test failure of one of lockheeds projects for hypersonics only to come out a week later and deploy hypersonics.

But back to your claim that Russia still hasn't busted out it's best equipment yet. Please tell me why they are procuring arms from outside? If they have enough bullshyt to use before using their "good stuff" then why bother buying arms from abroad? It makes no sense unless you realize that Russia simply doesn't have what it claims.
After the fall of the Soviet Union the Russian army was left to rot. It is what it is and it's plain to see. It was cannibalized by thieves from top to bottom. Russia kept claiming to make advancements that the US and it's allies actually took seriously and countered...for decades. Russia was projecting some sci-fi shyt but doing nothing. The West was like "Oh...ok. We are going to make something better that what you claim to have and then we are going to make something to destroy your shyt." And they did it consistently for decades.
So here we are. Ukraine using all of the West's shyt from 20-30 years ago and shoving down Russia's throat. You wanna know who really isn't using their best shyt? It's not Russia. The world has seen what the second best military in Ukraine can do and nobody is impressed.

P.S. The Soviets worked with the Nazis as allies until they were stabbed in the back. They even helped them invade Poland and partition it at the very start of WW2. They didn't have an issue with Nazis until they were in their backyard and Russia itself has a history after WW2 of state sanctioned anti-semitism that were on par with the Nazis
