I’m truly sorry that she has to serve that time for weed. I am. It is an injustice for anyone to have to do so. That said unfortunately the ultimate responsibility for this lies with her. Americans often have this sense of entitlement that they can flout the laws of other countries and find themselves in for a rude awakening. I do hope she’s able to get released early but there is a harsh lesson to be learned from this (that many won’t)
