First of all, this is Turkey - not Austria, not a country in the dead center of Europe.
Secondly, this is an ambassador. Archduke Franz Ferdinand was going to take over the entire Austro-Hungrarian empire.
Finally, it's a radical muslim terrorist attack. The Black Hand that killed Franz Ferdinand were like a serbian anarchist group. Turkey is going through alot of internal turmoil. There was the failed summer coup. There is the purge in the military and entire government. Also the Kurdish PKK insurgency that flared up. They also border Syria and have a shyt ton of Syria refugees that they can unleash into Europe. Turkey is gonna be in a shyt situation in a couple of years.
