Yeah but you do know that racism isnt just only police brutality. What about schools, job discrimination, housing, policy and etc

I have to say this but some of you already not seeing that you already looking at the tree and forgetting about the forest around the tree. As I said earlier, racism does play a role in police brutality but we arent even the majority of police shootings in America. Never were but yeah that issue along with others need to be addressed for black people on a whole. BLM is only being a hindrance by the misinformation of police brutality being the main focus of what racism is for black people. The mainstream media is rolling along with it obviously and folks not even connecting the dots with the way the government is basically involved in and is basically allowing it. Yall looking it at party lines but they all are basically cool with this. You are supposed to be uncomfortable. I'm uncomfortable and have always been.

1. "BLM" :hhh:

I am saying that me for example saying "Black Lives Matter" would not make me a Soros acolyte.

Goal overlap is pretty common.

Plenty of people vote for a party candidate when they are not "members" of a party. Plenty (the majority I guess) vote for people with whom they do not agree 100%. I'd wager that that is the case for the vast majority of people. Plenty of people work together with people for a common goal even if ideologically they are not entirely on the same page.

Most brehs on here have a problem with the institution of US policing but most would call the police should the right circumstances arise - for example a car accident. A breh then calling the police is NOT subscribing to the KKK origins of the police force. It is done on the basis of common purpose.

To try to discredit multi-faceted and multi-regional goals on the basis of an organization whose platform has been to a large extent co-opted and synergized is missing the point.

People shouting "BLM" in London or Sydney do not want to see "BLM-USA" take over the world. They are calling for justice.

:ufdup:That "BLM" cry is the condensed vangard of the message of civil rights luminaries ranging back decades if not longer, wrapped up in a high-profile soundbite. They are also 'No Justice, No Peace" demos but the press prefer not to categorize them like that.

EDIT: Confusing the org with the movement with the slogan based - due to media conflation of the 3, is similar to how in the early days some could not understand that "coronavirus" did not mean coronavirus (the family of viruses) in a literal sense. A new colloquial meaning for coronavirus (meaning covid19) was coined on the fly during 2020 and it does NOT mean exactly what the old definition does.

2. https://blacklivesmatter.com/about/ :ufdup:

"About
#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. By combating and countering acts of violence, creating space for Black imagination and innovation, and centering Black joy, we are winning immediate improvements in our lives.

We are expansive. We are a collective of liberators who believe in an inclusive and spacious movement. We also believe that in order to win and bring as many people with us along the way, we must move beyond the narrow nationalism that is all too prevalent in Black communities. We must ensure we are building a movement that brings all of us to the front.

We affirm the lives of Black queer and trans folks, disabled folks, undocumented folks, folks with records, women, and all Black lives along the gender spectrum. Our network centers those who have been marginalized within Black liberation movements.

We are working for a world where Black lives are no longer systematically targeted for demise.

We affirm our humanity, our contributions to this society, and our resilience in the face of deadly oppression.

The call for Black lives to matter is a rallying cry for ALL Black lives striving for liberation."

Can someone explain to me how is helps trump?
If he lose won’t it mean nothing who he appoints?
They will be approved before he leaves office one way or another doesn't matter if he loses or not. The person nominated will likely be approved by late November early December he is office until at least January.

So, we going to act like black people didn't vote to allow this woman to have 8 fukking years to step down?

Black people gave her 8 fukking years to step down and she didn't.

Stop blaming Black people for what happened today.

She had plenty of time to step down and didn't.

Tell Democrats to stop putting older MFers in the Supreme Court in the first place.

I find it funny that people are quick to blame Black people for everything that happens in the country. :mjpls:

:mindblown::mindblown:

So we blaming black people now?? Who’s doing that ?

:mjpls::mjpls:

Mcconnell already said he ramming through Trump's pick but apparently a few Republicans said they won't vote on it, senate is 53-47 which mines if 4 senators say they won't vote, the Alaska senator she's not voting, Susan Collins probably won't either since she's trying to save her seat plus she's in hot water for voting for trump's other pick

Word. So why did the Republicans have Obama scared to do anything his first two years in office? They had no power then, right? Why didn’t we put our foot down their mouths? They willing to go scorched earth and we’re not. As far as the Garland ruling, the Democrats could’ve contested it. It would’ve been long and drawn out, probably not been successful and distracted people from the Trump-Hilary election but they could’ve did it. They just decided it wasn’t worth it.

Obama didn't have a filibuster proof majority except for 1 day which is the day they pushed through the ACA. Outside of that republicans put a blanket filibuster on EVERYTHING.

Why are you telling others not to,vote? :what:

What kind of God-like authority you have?
He' s not talking about voting goofy. Check the tweet that he replied to. The tweet says to enact civil disobedience like we never seen before. That's a bad idea right now tbh. All the riots that been happening in the last few months have only given Trump more supporters. He even used it to brand himself as the "law and order" president. Stop with the riots until after the election PLZ
