Of course most of them are. Malcolm, Neely Fuller and others have explained this in great detail. But is our alternative a white conservative? One will build you a house on the other side of town so you don't live next to them. The other will burn your house down, no matter where it is. I'll stick with the one who does not leave me homeless.

The supreme court rules according to the climate of the day...I dont believe any judge that is appointed by Trump is going to turn back the hands of time and put black people back in chains or reverse abortion or revoke civil rights legislation like some black folk believe..Affirmative action benefits more white women than black people in general so I dont give a fukk about that angle either...Plenty examples throughout American history in which conservative leaning courts vote to uphold liberal type policies...So to answer your question the courts arent really of concern to me..And besides I believe Trump would appoint someone more left than you think because at his core he is center left in his beliefs and I believe he would do it to fukk with the Republican establishment who he is currently at war with...He is the perfect candidate to literally burn this system down and resurrect something new..Now all we need is someone equivalent to Trump to take down the democratic party and just maybe we can start to see the beginnings of viable third parties arise:blessed:
Supreme Court says Voting Rights Act of 1965 is no longer relevant
You're 100% wrong and that's a little terrifying.

RBG isn't an activist, she's a SCOTUS Justice :what:
She's no Sonia Sotomayor, she believes deeply in the system, hence her position :what:
Where did this ridiculous idea that she's ready to ride for any minority group come from? :dame:
She believes in the right to protest, not necessarily in protesting :snoop:

Trump aint appointing no scalias is my point:outtahere:
He has a list of Scalias set up already, including Don Willett:
"Willett also helped with select litigation, including efforts to protect the Ten Commandments monument on the Texas Capitol grounds and also the Pledge of Allegiance when it was challenged for including the words “under God.” Willett was serving in this Deputy Attorney General position when he was appointed to the Texas Supreme Court in August 2005."

Trumpset lives in an alternate reality where they interpret whatever the hell they want from the crazy shyt their bloated orange god says. Trump is a blank slate to project all of the beliefs they have onto him. Sad.

she may not agree with my man kaep, but she's voted on the side of things that black people would care about more times than not. a lot of old people you might have thought would be cool with kaep's approach because of their history turned out not to be like jim brown for example. reaction to kaep's approach from certain people is less racial and more generational.

and that's the only thing you got from that post. i see you aren't touch the scalia bits because if you can't defend him then how the hell would you be fine with trump appointing more like him. that disconnect is something serious.

*bingo*
no need for ongoing - thread got its answer
