The behavior on display at a lot of fake luxury steakhouses (like RC) is deplorable. Loud, ignorant people. Dudes in pajamas, women in lingerie. This wasn’t really a problem until the quarantine ended IMO. I’m not saying women didn't dress scantily - that’s been a thing and isn’t a problem. But there’s a difference between a short skirt showing cleavage and nipple pasties and spandex.

If you want to listen to loud music and dance while waiting for your food you should go somewhere that allows that shyt.

I tried to tell you fools that this was gonna happen.

It's a way of selectively discriminating against and weeding out certain customers from dining in their establishments. Still, nah, you fools wanna keep spending your money in these places, especially these white ass restaurants that don't want you there just so you can feel like you're “moving on up”, disassociating with Blackness because you think you're too good or you've been conditioned to view Black restaurants as not being of the same class/social stature as the White ones.

Honestly, I feel like Black people should stop spending money at these “luxury/upscale” restaurants and clothing stores, too, but that's another conversation for another day. They don't really want you there in the first place. Whether you dressed down or shyt dressed up, it doesn't matter; they already thought negatively of you the moment you stepped through the doors and, in turn, give you subpar service.

There's a saying about how you shouldn't spend money in places you wouldn't be hired, well it's the same thing, don't eat in restaurants where you're not respected and treated as a valuable customer, these places take Black folks' money and the owners, managers, servers, etc don't have any respect for us at the same time.

I would never consider eating at these places. I proudly spend my money at restaurants, particularly Black-owned establishments, where I'm valued and treated with dignity. At least, I know that when I'm sitting down, my presence is wanted.

Expensive steakhouses do have a dress code, they just dont have to advertise it because people going in to buy $90 steaks tend not to show up in basketball shorts and a tank top.

And its not like they ask people to put on a 3 piece suit. Non ripped jeans and any shirt with a collar suffice in 99% of the instances. Thats shyt that every man already has in their closet, why is it an issue now?

:mjlol: THEYRE NOT EVEN ASKING
FOR COLLARED SHIRTS.

THEY SIMPLY SAID NO TANK TOPS
NOR SHIRTS WITH OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE/GRAPHICS
AND SOME OF THESE FAKE nikkaS
STILL MAD

Hey, I'm not trippin', I've never spent a dime up in there a day in my life. Hell, I don't even eat steak unless it's Philly(cheesesteak). I'm just a Black man with common sense, dignity, and self-awareness.

Y'all wanna ignore the elephant in the room because y'know people like me are right; them white folks don't want your Black asses sitting at their dining tables, but they'll take your money anyway because like Clay Davis said, “I'll take any fool's money if they're giving it away” or something of that effect.

But y'all are blinded by faux social statuses and wanting to separate yourself from your Blackness to appear as if you're better, and white folks just laughing and taking your money.

I'm reading some of this shyt with the :gucci:

Gym wear, pool attire, tank tops, clothing with offensive graphics or language, revealing clothing or exposed undergarments.

None of this shyt is hard.

Cats think being told you can't pull up wearing swimming trunks, a tank top, or a shirt with some wild shyt on it is an attack on black people.

You pull up with a t shirt and some regular shorts no one will give a shyt.

Which part of the new dress code do you take offense to?

Gym wear, pool attire, tank tops, clothing with offensive graphics or language, revealing clothing or exposed undergarments.
I've never ended up at a restaurant, whether planned or not, where any of these were an issue.

They even say if you're wearing a ball cap you just have to sit in the lounge/bar area.
