Most people do not know their ancestor's names past grandma and great-grandma. With that logic, only they should be revered.

My genetic testing confirmed what i knew about my family in the states, that's my moms and them from the Delmarva Pennisula, my father's side from the Deep South but, it also gave me alot of info about Africa and to me it was priceless. I don't know about yall but, I like knowing exactly where I came from. Most of my genetic history is tied to Owo (which is Yoruba) and Imo (which is Igbo). White people are on TikTok right now river-dancing because Irish people were portrayed in Sinners and they have ties to Ireland yet, it's a problem for us to recognize we're tied to West/Central Africa.
