I dont know about that. Ultimately that will come if he proves he can make movies that attract alot of white people. Somebody like Ice Cube proved he could take low budgets and make a nice profit. Hes not getting blank checks on the idea that if you give him 100 million he can make a movie that brings in 1 billion. Just because hes turned 12mil to 80 million box office before. Coogler will have to start making movies that bring in a billion to get that blank check status.

The Sinners audience is broadening, swinging from 43% female in weekend one to 56% female this weekend with a rise in the under 25 set jumping from 20% last weekend to 34%. Diversity demos for week 2 are Black moviegoers at 43% (vs. 49% in weekend one), 25% Caucasian (vs. 27%), Latino and Hispanic at 17% (up from 14% last weekend), and Asian American moviegoers at 11% (up from 6% a week ago).
