im not the biggest fan of dude rapping, but to be honest I haven't listened to much of it. like reggie hit on, sometimes that mental block of hearing a dude youre used to singing trying to rap can be a hell of a hurdle to get over...but I digress
I get where dude is coming from. if rapping is what's in his heart and he's found a way to pinpoint his core fans and turn that into the type of profit that can sustain his lifestyle, cutting out the middle man and getting as much of his coin as possible then he's good. prolly better than dude's you hear on the radio, slaves to record companies and management companies taking fat boy slices of their cake.
his talent as an artist is debateable, but he sounds pretty in tune with how he can maximize his business, especially if talib and companies are rendering his model/services.
im much more interested in that than his music, which he prolly still has some heat (minus that single somebody upped last week. that was bad).
