Yeah the whole thing was retarded. I figured they were going to name him as their day 1 starter instead of hoyer. Hoyer is a backup...I'd rather hitch my wagon to a young guy with upside like Mallett.

He made Matt McGloin go from bad college QB to now on an NFL roster. Christian Hackenberg is a shell of himself from two years ago now that he's gone from Penn State. Fitzpatrick had his best season last year on the Texans.

good points on McGloin and Fitz, i still need to see him develop someone at this level. Mallett has skills but is a bonehead, if im Bob McNair i give him another year but only with the stip that he works with a 1st rounder if neither of the current guys pan out
