Remembwr hot 97 the same place ebro said he wouldnt bring sean price up during his prime because he was “minor league” but guys like Trinidad james got spots. It has to do with that fcc govt bullshyt making all radio the same everywhere.

Everything but commercial rap got deaded on nyc radio after puff. All the nyc mcs were regulated to late night freestyles and only the biggest label ones got support. By mid 2000s the big puns and canibus’ freestyle sessions and the like were gone unless you got on kay slays show.
