i think the mushmouthed flow makes it that much more entertaining, i get how it's an acquired taste but the way he crams in as much as he can and almost stumbles over his own speech impediment is very "wu" to me in that sense that maaaadddddd wu-affiliates attempted the same.

i'm a cac muslim so the islamic/religious references have been some of my favorite parts for years but i have had plenty of conversations with black and white rap fans who either a) don't even catch it or b) are turned off by it. the amount of casual wu fans who somehow don't realize that all of those religious references are there is fukking mindblowing.

those opening lines are crazy though, sets it off by painting a crazy picture. lot of white dudes feel weird about those type of lines but they probably feel weird about the out of africa theory too. i accepted a long time ago that not all hip hop fans will care about the jewels in some songs.
