I'm Hard Like D-Block Readin The Book Of Enoch...

..attract people like magnets, pragmatic when it comes to static
I study my mathematics, help my friends in need
Aim to succeed, respect men all color, race and creed
Don't just strive, know who he is, I strive to be it
My father's the king, I'm a prince, that's how I see it
Travel revolutionary roads, live by samurai code
Got Chi kung, my skin tough as the toad
Who am I? How can doubt deny that I am what I am
Descended from the most high
Metamorphosis metaphysical, we building better physical
We see shine and design, therefore he's not invisible
Proceed and heard everywhere
From a spec of dust to a follicle of hair
To a rogue wave in the ocean to a molecule of air, he's there

Microscopic to the cosmic, puts every force on object
Whether you're 'nostic, catholic, gothic, or the prophet
We deal with mathematics, we can subtract or add it
Divide it, multiply or breaking down the fractions
From a cloud of blood and sperm cell we flashing
The biochemical equation, walk and talk with reaction..
"

"..the answer to all questions, the spark of all suggestions
Of righteousness, the pathway to the road of perfection

Who gives you all and never ask more of you
The faithful companion that fights every war with you

Before the mortal view of the prehistorical, historical
He's the all and all, you searchin for the oracle

A mission impossible, purely philosophical
But you call him on your death bed when you layin in the hospital
.."

Rza's one of my favorite artists period, there's really no limit to what he can do imo, I'm still mad as fukk that he never did a solo instrumental album, closest we got was tha Ghost Dog score, I was hoping he would do like Muggs or El-P...

those opening lines are crazy though, sets it off by painting a crazy picture. lot of white dudes feel weird about those type of lines but they probably feel weird about the out of africa theory too. i accepted a long time ago that not all hip hop fans will care about the jewels in some songs. :manny:

can't forget this joint either, wish we could've had a muggs vs rza album in 96.

This would've been a monster. All the Wu-Soul Assassins collabos are insane.

I remember the first time I heard this, how I went from nodding my head to hype as hell. It's the way RZA raps it, right. He starts off ULTRA calm and shyt.

":sas1: ultimate break beats and shyt, right? nikkas... still making money off of the old shyts.

Looping the same shyts for a thooouussaand years and shyt.... riiiight... :sas2:

the b, the o, the b, the b, the y...."

He gets more aggressive and loud every verse, gets more into it every hook.

by the time it's over he's screaming and shyt.

":merchant: YOU DONT WANNA BATTLE ME! THE B THE O THE B THE B THE Y....."

You try your best not to sing along to the shyt, but you be failing, right!
