I'm still running back 2018 releases like they came out yesterday. We're half way through the year and I can't even name an album that I liked that came out this year off the top of my head :ehbay:
I'm sure there are a couple, but the only thing I can think of right now that I even liked a little is Boogie's Everything' s for Sale. I was gonna say Fetti but I just Googled it and that was October last year
By late last year I was pretty sure CARE FOR ME was my AOTY, and now with a little time I'm 100% sure.

Actually, thinking of that whole crew/generation, I think so far an album from this year I'm gonna be going back to a lot is Jamila Woods' LEGACY. It's really damn good. And Freddie Joachim's new album, but as far as rap goes I'm still waiting to be blown away this year. Skimming through my 2019 shyt everything I'm fukking with heavy is singing - Etta Bond, Paak, Jamila, Koffee, Mereba etc.

I’m mad I didn’t know this thread. Album still heavy in my rotation. Busy/Sirens is one of my favorite songs ever. I played it so much even my daughter know the lyrics.
This album should've gotten way more recognition. One of the best releases of the last decade

One album I can honestly say is a modern classic in my eyes.
I know it doesn't have that acclaim on a wide scale, but everyone that has heard this album knows it's special.
