You’re a motherfukkinh liar. I argued for a continued stimulus until the pandemic was over, weekly or monthly payments that everyone would receive. I never once said “poor folks” shouldn’t receive anything.
They got the 2 big stimulus checks that everyone got, but they were fighting for the same stimulus bonus that the unemployed got because they were risking their health to provide services.Didn’t those retail workers receive a stimulus?

No, you’re wrong. Either you’re
or confusing me for one of the callous idiots who argued against the unemployment bonus. Never once did I ever dismiss the concerns of the “essential” workers who didn’t qualify for pandemic unemployment assistance. What I think you might be recalling are the exchanges I had with those who said that the unemployed shouldn’t receive anything if essential workers were excluded from the pandemic aid. My position then, which I still stand by, was that those who lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic shouldn’t be penalized because of the admittedly unfair allotment of aid. Their criticisms, which were certainly valid, should have been directed at Congress.
